Sooo, souvenir cups are definitely refillable...yes?

We've never actually purchased souvenir cups at Disneyland, and were thinking of doing so on this next trip.

Do you still get free refills with the souvenir cups? And if so, can you refill them anywhere in the parks?

As far as I know, they are not.

You could refill them, but you will pay full price for it. So if you're doing it for environmental reasons, it's good, but if you're getting the cups for financial reasons, it doesn't work. Plus, they probably won't fill the cups *for* you at the places where you don't have access to the machines.

It's why they call them "souvenir" cups, instead of WDW's refillable cups/mugs.

They will not refill them, even if you're trying to be environmentally conscious. I've asked, repeatedly. We have at least ten of those stinkin' purple cups and I give them to Goodwill constantly.

Well I've refilled mine at WWS, with coffee, before. I was doing mine and DH's in a throwaway cup, and I told her before what I was doing, then after what I was doing, and she still said about 18 extra times that I would be paying full price for both. It was exhausting, as I KNEW it, TOLD her that I knew it, but she still needed to do it. But I did it!

But that's b/c it's self-service. I know that I could never hand it to someone and have them refill it. It's why I said "Plus, they probably won't fill the cups *for* you at the places where you don't have access to the machines."

I'm actually glad they're not refillable....now hubby won't have a reason to buy one! (I really don't want the kids drinking soda, and I HATE plastic cups!) We'll just stick with water bottles, as usual.
