We are coming to WDW for the first time Nov 7...we are a male 53 and female 51 and we have saved for 8 years for this trip...Disney has been a DREAM for me all my life...but...life got in the way...also son 24 and Girlfriend will be coming with us...maybe...just maybe we will be lucky enough to get a dream come true from Disney...to wax poetetically if I may...I used to watch "Wonderful World Of Disney" every Sunday as a child and young adult with dreams of going there some day...we are staying at CSR
All I can say is we have a count down going and CANNOT wait until Nov 7, 2007 at 5:30 am when we leave for WDW!!!!!:

This next trip will be our DSIL's first Disney trip. He comes from a clan of 14 kids, so WDW vacations weren't in the cards when he was younger. So much of the fun will be watching him as he sees first hand the Disney magic for the first time. I hope you enjoy your trip

I never got to go as a kid and couldn't afford to take mine when they were very little, either. I feel bad about that - but that's life in the big city, little beaver.

RJO, first to the DIS! I'm certain that you and your family will have a wonderful trip! On Nov.10 & 11 Super Soap weekend will be occurring at MGM Studios, so there will be a lot of action then, and then the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights will start on November 12. I don't know how long you'll be there but the lights are really something to see. Have you made your dining reservations yet? Tell me all about your plans, I love to hear what first timers have planned. Here are a few photos from the Osborne Lights in '05:

I hope you have a wonderful time. Thanks for reminding me just how special WDW really is.

When my older kids were small, we couldn't afford to go either. We're making up for lost time now though. Two years ago, we took my DD's boyfriend (20)for his first time. Watching his excitement was just as much fun as watching my own kid's their first time there.

I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time. We were at Disney in May. It was the first trip for myself, dh, dd, gdd (age 5). Looking forward to another trip in the near future. We stayed at CR.
