Hi all! I've been around the forums before but under a different screen name (its been so long I honestly forgot the log in completely) but anyway!

I am soon to be a Disney bride (darling bf is planning on buying my engagement ring very soon. been getting several hints) and I wanted to know what your guys thoughts were on some of the things I've looked at for the wedding.

We are for sure doing a Disney wedding in September of 2020 and are looking at using the Wedding Pavilion for the ceremony and Living Seas Salon for the reception. about 75-85 guests (may end up being a little less. I have 6 on my side of the bridal party and DBF has 5.

Extras we for sure want to do are the major domo for the rings, the Cinderella carriage, castle photos and possibly the projection cake.

If anyone has any experience with any of this or doing a Disney wedding in general, your feedback is much appreciated! Thank you!

    xoxo Missy

Here are all my interviews with Living Seas Salon couples: https://disneyweddingpodcast.com/?s=living+seas

And here is my overview show that explains how the Wishes Collection works: https://disneyweddingpodcast.com/2018/01/17/wishes-overview-faq-2018/

You can also use the search bar at the bottom of the podcast website to search for shows on basically everyhting else, like the projection cake, how to set up a room block, ways to save on transportation, how BOC bars work, etc.

My best piece of advice is to skip the wedding party, though. In 12 years of covering weddings, it has become apparent that the No. 1 source of wedding stress is not the budget or the mothers-in-law, it's bridesmaids and groomsmen. Friends and family will enjoy the day much more if they can just be guests. And it will save them money on attire and you money on bouquets, boutonnieres and gifts! https://disneyweddingpodcast.com/2016/06/01/top-10-wedding-stress-busters/
