i know the Paint the Night Parade hasn’t started yet, not until the 13th. But my wife and I booked this for the 24th when we are there.
The question I have is it says beer and wine, how much do you get and what kind will it be? Is it unlimited or limit two? Do you think it will be similar to the WOC dessert package?

Thanks

While I actually have no idea, I assume it will be similar to the WOC dessert party. I imagine it will be one or 2 small drinks. Perhaps they will offer more for a fee.

I'm curious to hear what all they have to offer. It sounds pretty good. I also think the alcoholic beverages will be limited too. The WOC dessert party limits 2 alcoholic drinks per adult.

See you there. DH and I have reservations for that same night. :-)

Do you have any update on this? I would love to hear a review!

I did it and probably wouldn't do if again or recommend it.

First, it is a limit of 2 alcoholic drinks and the choices are VERY limited. They had one red wine, one white, and 2 beers (both IPA). They also had a specialty cocktail which sounded absolutely disgusting. It was some ridiculous combination of wine, rum, fruit juice and cinnamon. You can have unlimited water, coffee, or hot chocolate.

The food was all cold veggies and meats and cheeses. There is also a bread basket which was okay. The quality of the meats varied between "Oscar meyer" and "high end deli."

You get a small box of truffles as you are leaving (wish they just gave these upfront so I could eat them while there).

The best part was the chairs and tables, but because this parade route is SO long, it's really not a necessary splurge. You can find a good spot to sit along much of the route.

I don't feel that the price lines up with what you get. At $49 it would be just right. At $79, it is overpriced. If you need chairs the Carthay Circle dining package is the far better value.

I agree with DLgal. For the price I thought the food was subpar and actually wrote Disney about it. Hopefully they'll make a change. The specialty drink my night was sangria and it was GOOD!

I booked it thinking it was a dessert reception and was pretty disappointed that it wasn't. I think if it was the same stuff you get at the WOC dessert party, at the same price point, it would be great. Just something about eating a VERY basic and cheap charcuterie plate for $79 left me bitter. I bet it costs all of $5 to put that plate together and there was no creativity or flair at all to the presentation. At least desserts require some skill to execute.

I knew it was a charcuterie plate going in. I had just had a wine & charcuterie party at my work- the cheese, meat & bread we served was FAR superior to what Disney provided. I was kind of surprised that they didn't give us bread that you could use to stack your cheese and meat. I was also disappointed with the bread - why not just bring over some of the yummy sourdough bread from across the wharf?
