Song Price Drop for August from Boston

I just noticed that Song has dropped their prices for August from Boston. I called and got vouchers for the difference.

Just wanted to let everyone know.

Hi MNT568,
I also am flying Song in August and was wondering if you got a credit for the full difference. Our flight dropped $39 each way online ($80 difference) and when I called to get a voucher they told me they didnt have access to the online flights and the difference in their system was $13 each way($26 total) I was very upset by this and expressed this to both the operater and her superviser (who told me to send an email, there was no one higher than her I could talk to over the phone). Sorry this is a little long, I just don't know if I got the short end of the stick here!!!! Thank You!

For some fares, notably fares booked over the internet, airlines do not match the price if the published fare is reduced after you bought your ticket.

For some airlines, price matching is not offered unless the class letter of what you want matches that you already have. For those seeking to book the lowest fares on Song, the class letter will usually be L (low intermediate fare), U (everyday low price*), or T (fare war), *limited seats in each category, and exact fare amount may change within each category.

In the case mentioned above, the fares available when you phone in to book may be different from those availabel when you book on line.

I ran into this with song--- web rates are always lower than phone booking rates. I bought tickets this morning and a couple hours later the far dropped 20 more dollars per ticket. Called to get the voucher-- but only got $14 more per ticket because the phone booking rates are higher than web rates. I guess maybe I'm more compacent because I didn't really argue.
