Song not flying out of EWR after Sept 6?

disappointing that Song will not fly EWR-MCO. You would think the powers that be could salvage at least one of the two daily flights they had for NJ. I have to call back today for the final answer and get my refund. Should I or is there any advantage to letting them rebook for me on a different airline? I didn't use skymiles so no lose there. Are there any other direct flights to MCO? I'm not good on takeoffs and landings...once up and once down is enough for me! :flower:

Laura, the only other airline with a decent amount of non-stops to MCO is CO. Others have also mentioned USA3000. They do not fly everyday of the week, however.

If you let Song rebook you, odds are you'll be placed on a Delta flight having to connect thru ATL. If you have never been thru Hartsfield, it can be a rather intimidating airport. I fly to/from Atlanta on a regular basis for work. I have yet to have a flight arrive or take off on time.

Other non-stop options are Spirit out of AC and Southwest from Philly in addition to Song and JetBlue from LGA and JFK. I think there is also something from Allentown PA. Not sure though. Good Luck!

We have tix from LGA leaving on November 5th...and originally there were 4 flights! I just checked the web site, and now there are only 3 flights! What is going on?

I'm not flying 11/5, but I went to take a look and it seems several dates in November there are only 3 flights leaving LGA. Looks like they took away the 10:50 am flights.

Kathy,
I rebooked with Delta and will have to fly into ATL. I was intrigued with USA3000 pricing, but since our resort and cruise dates were all set, I couldn't alter the schedule. I actually saved a few $$ with the new flights. I just live too far NW in Jersey to make it to JFK or LGA...especially during rush hour or any hour for that matter. Traffic...the road block to smooth sailing. Thanks for the headsup on ATL airport. :sunny: :wave2:

I'm flying on that flight out of LGA on 11/5...it's scheduled for 10:25 AM and we're on it. I just checked my itinerary w/ Song and everything is still okay. I have to assume that it's been removed since it's completely full. When I booked (3/17), there weren't that many seats left and I had to separate our party re: seating. So I'm thinking that it's off because it's full.

This could very well be that case.

Also, go to the Delta website and you can check your own flight for that day to make sure there are no changes.

the radio commercials I've been hearing for Song, mention they are adding additional flights to Vegas, Seattle and ooo I can't recall the third-maybe San Fran. Just the places I want to go... Seattle???

Well, now I'm panicking...I booked through WDW travel to fly Song in December. I haven't been notified by Delta or WDW. Did anyone else already booked, receive a phone call or notification letter?

Chipmunkfan,

I was already booked on Song for Nov. I did not receive a notification letter, nor a phone call. I happened to be looking for a flight for our friends on Song out of EWR for Nov. also and that's how I found out. I called customer service right away and they were not really aware of it also! Finally a supervisor confirmed that there were no more flights out of EWR as Sept. 6th. I was very upset, to say the least. All they were offering was another flight out of EWR on Delta, another flight out of JFK or LGA on Song or Delta, or a full refund. We choose Song out of JFK. But, now we have to pay for a car service to JFK. This pulling out of EWR is costing me a lot of money. :sad2: We are very dissapointed with the way Song and Delta are dealing with all of this. Good luck to you! Hope it all works out for you! :goodvibes

RWE2L8 ~ Did you consider taking the full refund and booking on Continental out of Newark?

Hi bballmom56!

Oh yes we did! But the flight times we need will cost us over $615 each! :earseek: When I bought these tickets on Song, way back in Dec. '04, I got a really good price on them. So, it comes out cheaper to go out of JFK for all of us.
