Song just cancelled a whole bunch of flights from LaGuardia! Ours included!

I just checked Song and my Dec flights out of JFK were changed.

It just amazes me that these airlines do this and don't contact people! I just happen to be neurotic and check my flight on a daily basis!...I guess for just cause! Leaving Orlando, my original flight was for 10:30 AM...but when I called them, they said non-chalantly, "Oh, we switched you to the 7AM." Over my dead body!!! Now I have extra time to try to enjoy the resort! We leave Orlando at 4:30 PM!

I am flying out of LGA on 9/23 @6:30am and leaving MCO on 10/1 @2:30pm. My flights and seats are still there. When is this starting? Anyone else in Sept check theirs?

The September and October flights are still the same, no change yet. I will check it quite often though.

It's seems all the changes take place after October. If you are not happy with where you have been placed you can choose any other flight, no charge. As far as contacting people I read on another post they are call in flight date order. I quess since I am not going til February that I won't be getting a call anytime soon.

My Sept/Oct flights did change slightly, and one flight number was new. (trip is Sept 30 -Oct 5th out of LGA)

No big impact, my seats seem to be the same. I got an email alerting me to the changes.

Delta's schedule change was filed this past Saturday, I believe. I'm sure they have tens of thousands of customers affected by numourous changes around the system. With all of the lay offs and down sizing, they just can't get to them all immediately. They work the flights in date order, one day at a time.

Smart travelers, like yourself, check their flights periodically for these types of changes. The farther out you book, the more likely a change will occur to your flight.

Saw this thread and panicked - LGA-MCO on August 26. Checked out FLYSONG.COM and all flights were still there. What flights were cancelled?

After reading this thread, I checked my flights online - BOS to MCO in November. Both flights had been moved, and new flight numbers appeared at the old times. So, basically, they moved my flights earlier with the same number, and gave the original time a new number, therefore freeing up an empty plane at the more popular time. Those airlines are slick.

I called and got the morning departure changed back to the original time (with new flight number) and managed to get 4 seats together - even better seats. The flight back at the original time (again, new flight number) did not have 4 seats together, so I stuck with the new time. Not a big deal, we weren't going to any of the parks the last day anyhoo. But, I will check back each day to see if seats free up on the afternoon flight. I'm sure there are alot of people swapping plans around.

The cool thing is that I could verify the itinerary changes online while I was talking on the phone and saw my old seats become available and the new seats be taken. It was very cool to be able to verify that the person on the phone was making the correct changes as I was talking to them.

Another interesting thing, they claimed that they did not have my home phone number to notify me of the changes because I made the reservations online. Actually, a disney rep made the flight arrangements (I talked to a disney rep on the phone). So, for anyone who made flight arrangements through disney, Song may not tell you if your flight has changed.

Now, to make sure the Magical Express is up to date on my new flights......

My flights haven't changed either as I am leaving out of LGA on 9/24 @ 6:30am and coming back on 10/2 @ 10:34am.

I emailed song airlines and they said my flight has not been changed but didn't say whether or not it was going to change or stay the same.

They cancelled my LGA/MCO flight in December & moved the return flight to 7:30 AM. I got a great agent on the phone, and knowing the way they work told her I would now fly our of JFK( got to leave 1 hour earlier) and that coming home I would take the 10:30 flight. I did all my homework before I picked up the phone so I knew seats were avaialble. No hassle everything changed in about 15 minutes and for the better.
