Son of DH co-worker hospitalized with flu

DH just heard that the 3 year old son of a co-worker has been hospitalized with the flu. How scary. They are apparently (?) doing testing to see if it is the strain that is so bad.

Oh no, I hope he will be ok. He'll be in my prayers.
Do you know if he has an underlying condition, such as asthma or respitory problems?
