to you!! you're a great mommy, getting him the help he needs! My 27 month old nephew is delayed in speech, and had a couple of other issues (toe walking, arm flapping, shoulder scrunching, food texture issues, not *bonding* w/ anyone but mom the way other kids did) that we knew 'something' wasn't right. He's been getting 4 days a week of different OT's from Early Intervention, and he's grown by leaps and bounds! we all couldn't be happier!! He's now bonding w/ all of us, says all our names when he sees us, says short sentences, and is all around more engaged w/ his surroundings. He has poor muscle tone (or something like that) and fine motor is delayed, and they're working on all that too. Thank goodness for Early Intervention! I believe they're leaning towards "sensory integration (sp?) disorder", but we'll see. Whatever it is, he's being helped and we really see the difference OT has made.
