He started with a basic 90 something model Club Car, it has good batteries.

He stripped it down, sanded it, etc and his grandfather who is a retired body shop owner painted it.

We have always rented from Disney. It's going to be so nice in this cart this June, 2 weeks at the Fort.

If you don't mind, what $ do you have in the project. And time?

Looks awesome

I always think stitched piping on seats like that are a real class act. Wish I had talent like that.

Awesome job. That's a great looking golfcart especially since he did all the work himself. Kudos.

Thanks everyone. He said he paid 1000 for the car and about 2000 for all the stuff: wheels and tires, paint and supplies, new seat upholstery, a custom dash panel with drink holders and 2 glove boxes, new battery cables, head lights, tail lights, a battery meter, a 6 switch toggle switch panel, stereo speakers, LED lights for inside the glove boxes. I donated the stereo I had in the Excursion. I think he did it in 2 months in his spare time. I am very proud of the hard work and his good taste in the custom design.

Looks great. If we make enough room in the garage we may try something like this. Maybe not as pimped, since we would be using it on some acreage too. Thanks again for the info. :thumbsup2
