Something Unique to do at WDW

Have you rented a boat (e.g., water mouse) to drive around 7 seas lagoon? and over near Discovery island?
or a pontoon boat and gone from Port Orleans up to Down town disney?
Gone horseback riding?
Played Miniature golf?

We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour our last visit and totally enjoyed it. This year will do the segway tour. Hopefully I can figure out how to ride it. HA!

I did a Disneyana Convention and am doing mousefest this year...part of it involves a scavenger hunt and trivia contest...have fun !! there is just soooooooo much to do at WDW besides the rides !!!! :thumbsup2  :cheer2:

The Keys to the Kingdom tour is definately worth the time and money.
I may do it again next time I'm there!

Another unique thing to do is devote time to sharing the * magic * with
others - total strangers! When you see a family getting a group picture, offer to take the picture so they can ALL be in it! They will really appreciate it! Look for ways to make someone else's day .... especially the cast members!

When I was on a solo trip at Magic Kingdom years ago on my birthday, I wore the "It's my birthday!" button. A total stranger came up and presented me with a balloon. It made my day! Before leaving that day, I presented the balloon to someone else - - another total stranger.

Pixiedust all around!

We second and third the Lunch with an Imagineer - had the most wonderful lunch with Steve Grant at the Brown Derby - fantastic!!! We only had 1 other couple with us and learned so much about MGM - it was a wonderful experience!! Caroline

Hey, I notice Steve is missing from "our list". We were trying to come up with all 16 imagineers that do the lunch. If you have a minute pop over to http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1255446&page=2&pp=15&highlight=imagineer

and tell us a little about Steve.

I can't wait to do another one of these in May :cool1:

 Unfortunately we have returned from our trip. We did the Backstage Safari at the Animal Kingdom and it was wonderful. We were able to pet a white Rhino! I just wish it had been longer.

One thing that we do every trip and I thought would be a great idea for others looking for something unique is We talk to that characters as if they were our friends. Firs off we try to get pictures with as many 'Unique' characters as possible every trip (we're on a mission to have our picture taken with everyone.) This year we met Clarice from Chip n' Dale at MGM. Anyway, we literally walk up to characters and tell them how it's ben so liong since we've seen them and how great they look or hownice they're outfit is. We even go as far as telling them silly inside jokes my husband and I have about them (like my husband always says that Pluto has flees). We love it and they seem to like it too. They will then show lots of emotion. We saw Belle and Beast in France and my husband told Beast how he loves Gaston and how he thinks he should be considered a hero and Beast got angry with my husband and growled at him and towered over him. It also makes for some GREAT pictures and the kids think it's hysteral too. :rotfl2:
