Something to do

I have an off park day and taking advantage of the activities at the resorts. My son is doing pirate pals and then wonderland tea party at 2. (He loves decorating cupcakes and cookies so this is right up his alley). I'm trying to figure out what to do between that doesn't involve too much transportation. We're staying at AKL. Both activities are at grand Floridian.

Cruise is 9:30-11:30
Tea party is 2

After the tea party were chilling at our pool. Any suggestions for what to do between?

Resort activities, explore other resorts, boat and monorail rides, DS, Campfire sing along and movie with Chip and Dale at FW, electric water pageant from the lakes, miniature golf, Boardwalk, horse back riding, rent a boat, para sailing, fishing, canoe rentals at FW, hot air Ballon at DS, car boat, HDDR at FW, see the Disney horse barns and petting Zoo, at FW, check out the rail car Walt built and the water geyser at WL,

In my opinion, that's plenty. I would just chill in between. Too often, I witness kids having tantrums because they're exhausted from the overload of activities while at WDW. Of course, you know your son best. And, I suppose it depends his age too.

I agree. He just does terrible sitting around. If I can find something low key for him to do at resort that would be good. I just don't want to schlep back to AKL and then grand Floridian again
