How do you go about ordering some special candy or flowers to be in your room when you arrive? Is there a web site with pictures or descriptions?

Thanks,
Kim

I saw on television you could have a chocolate basket delivered. After some research and help from these boards - discovered could contact WDW Florist. I don't have the phone number, but if you search the boards you will find it.

They do not have a web site, you can phone them directly. They will offer to fax you a details list of what they offer. I however did not have one available to me. I asked them to mail it (which I have not received yet).

Someone on this board also suggested you have delivered on second day. Some people have had problems with arrangements/baskets going to incorrect room and never seeing them, or getting them very late. If you have delivered on second day (which I also read that they will do while you are out of room)
if for any reason you are upgraded or something like that, you should get your basket with no problem. Good luck!

Sorry so long.

I wanted a special start to our trip. I used WDW Florist. For $100 delivered we got a Goodies gift basket - lots of fruit/cookies/crackers/cheese. I had 5 beanies added (basic disney) and a Mickey Mylar balloon. The arraingement was beautiful and appreciated.

We called and got a brochure. (back in 2000)

As a former concierge in NYC and here in Orlando at Disney, it is best to order the flowers, basket, "goodies" and have them delivered after your arrival.

Cannot tell you how many times, we would put them in a preassigned room and they would disappear like a sock in the washing machine!

Believe it or not, rooms are pretty much assigned when you are physically at the front desk checking in.

If it is a special, huge occassion, like a proposal, call ahead and talk with the concierge, personally I have done things like hung up will you marry me signs with flowers and rose petals all over the room---but unfortunately, not every person goes this extra step.

Call WAY ahead of arrival and good luck!

I bought a bunch of things and divided them into sep. bags for each kid. I am going to ship them to resort and have them waiting at desk when we arrive. Inside the box I'll have a note stating something like "Glad you finally arrived, can't wait to see you, Love, Mickey."

We will have a lot more goodies for the money.

The florist phone number is 1-407-827-3505. I have not used them yet. I am also waiting on discriptions to arrive by mail as I do not have a fax at home. Sure wish they did have a web site.:D

We have used WDW florist a few times. First time, 8 years ago for our honeymoon, flowers for the room. Although I must say we stayed at the BC and they sent up a nice cheese & cracker basket with sparkling wine on them.

We sent my brother & his family an anniversary basket with goodies and plush characters for their anniversary.

We also sent a bottle of wine and a plush character to a generous family we met this past trip who were kind enough to pick up our dinner tab (we barely knew them!)

I think they do a nice job and in most cases the items were ordered and sent on the same day.

I would call them (WDW FLORIST) to ask the procedure before checking in so the item will be there when you arrive, not sure if they'll have it in the room or at the front desk for you.
