Something old, something new...

.....something borrowed, something blue !!

Hmm my friend asked me if I had this sorted - Ooops NO!!!!!!!

So what is everyone having?

The only thing I know for sure is the blue (mickey toe ring) and the new (dress)

Blue: garter
New: earrings my mom had bought me
Borrowed: my aunts ring that had passed away from cancer
Old: my great grandma's hankerchief sewn into/underneath my dress

My MOH just reminded me about this too. The only thing I have is the new, (my dress) and the borrowed (my MOH's veil). I have no idea what to do about the old, and blue, or how I am going to get a penny to stay in my sandles! (the penny is an irish thing). I'll probaby resort to a blue garter, but I an dreading wearing one and having it itch me all day.

I'll have my new dress, my blue saphire engagement ring, my grandmother's earings (old and meaningful since she died when my mom was 12) and I'm borrowing my mom's necklace to wear. Though if I find a necklace I like better, I'll have to borrow something else...

borrowed - evening bag
blue - embroidered and beaded heart on my slip (made by a dear family friend)

I am a jewlery freak! So...

Old - 3 dia and platnum earring I worked an entire summer for in HS.
New - 3 dia and platnum pendant my DH bought me for our wedding.
Borrowed - My grandmother's engagement ring, which she only wears now because I clued her in to resizing.
Blue - My sorority pin, which has sapphires in it.

something borrowed- grooms mother for the ceremony, she is a minister

something blue, blue thong and blue bow on garter

something old- our past lives before we fell in love

somthing new- our new life together as one.

Old: earring my friend gave me
New: the dress, the shoes...most of the outfit really
Borrowed: I borrowed a charm from a charm bracelet my mother had years ago and put it on the clasp of the citrine bracelet I wore on the big day (the charm bracelet was too old to wear, so it worked better just using one charm)
Blue: sapphire side stones in my engagement ring
