Something I have seen with three recent new reservations I have made…

After thinking the reservation was complete except for the official reservation I got the 7 dwarfs!! In the first two cases, I naively decided it was a glitch, pushed the back arrow and tried again and it worked, I got the reservation! This morning, the back arrow got me to beginning to book. I was successful booking it the second time, and I have gotten the confirmation. The website is still a bit wonky.

I am blue card, ( for what it’s worth, and all points used for these have been direct ) and have not had strange things happen before.

I tried to modify a reservation the other day and got the 7 dwarfs message at the last step. I got nervous because I was borrowing some points and I didn't want to mess that up, so I signed out. About 5 minutes later I got the email confirming the reservation/change. So even though I got the error, it went through. Weird.

I usually try the back arrow process @bobbiwoz described when I get the dwarves, too. For some reason, that usually sends them off to work somewhere else and I get to finish what I was doing.

I've also done that on other non-Disney websites when I get unexpected "failure" screens. My theory is that it's a load issue, but I really don't care because it usually works if the system isn't really totally down. Don't know why.

I've tried and tried using the back arrow to attempt to rid myself of the dwarfs. I'm trying to borrow 1 point from a resale contract and it just won't let me!! Has anyone had any luck resubmitting over and over on a resale borrowing reservation or modification??

I haven't, but I don't see that ever working because the borrowing problem has to be related to the way some individual resale contracts were set up and interact with the software. That doesn't have anything to do with load or capacity issues, which explains why back & refresh works.

Sorry so many are experiencing this, and mad at DVC for letting it go on for so long!
