Something I have been wondering....

At some point I figure I will need to use the restroom while wearing this puffy wedding dress...but I haven't figured out yet how I am going to manage with out changing into something else and getting out of the dress. Is there a secret or do you just hold it? I know a strange question but I just gotta know....

Although one family member mentioned to me that's the maid of honors job to figure out....so should I have her carry around a bucket or what? LOL

my first time around, my moh and another bm held my dress while I went. It was weird, but it worked. It was hard to wipe. LOL!!

funny you ask.............the first time which was atleast 8 hours after I put my dress on I went alone in a handicapped stall. Then after that I had my moh help. Youcan do it...

My MoH helped me by holding up my dress in a handicap stall and then after that I was able to handle it by myself

Anyway...

I had a ballgown dress for my first wedding that had a train. I didn't think I would be able to manage it but I went into the handicapped stall and gathered my dress and pulled it up high enough then moved as much of it as I could into my arms in front of me. It worked just fine. Just be sure to step away from the toilet before you let your dress down lol. You could have a nasty surprise.

Drink lots and lots of water starting a couple days before. The day of the wedding, try not to drink anything until your reception. You wont have to go as much and reduce the chance of rumpling your dress.

We unzipped my dress, untied the crinoline, and then I stepped out of it. I headed to the stall in my longline bra and pantyhose, and afterwards stepped back into the dress.
