Just booked my Eurostar seats for next January :)

However, on checking the email they have spelt my Daughters surname incorrectly:sad2:
Just rang them up and they have said they as it is only one letter then it really doesn't matter and re-assured me that i will be ok. It cannot be changed but they have put a note on the booking that they are aware of the incorrect spelling.

Still, despite the re-assurance i can't now help but worry.:sad1:

One letter is not going to be noticed by anyone anywhere and they don't check names on tickets against names on passports so you have nothing to worry about :goodvibes

No need to worry, I found this in the Eurostar Q&A

Please note: If you have made a minor spelling mistake to the names on your booking this does not generally cause problems when checking in for your journey.

Thanks for that, guess i am worrying about nothing.

Her surname is "Pike" and they have put "Pipe"

I can see how they have made the mistake as they sound the same but usually the spell it back to you which today they didn't and i didn't think to ask.:sad2:

Both myself and my partner had our names spelt completely wrong on our tickets and no one ever checked. They don't check your passport and ticket at the same time.

So yeah don't worry.

we are in the same boat... they missed one letter on my husband first name and when i rang then back they said the same to me, put a note and adviced that probably no one will notice it any way... so hopefully we will be fine...:littleangel:
