Someone w/ very neg feedback bid on my item. Now what do I do?

Hi,
I meant to add instructions in my item that if you have neg feedback due to non-payment, I will retract your bid. Well, of course I forgot to put in that statement. And wouldn't you know that someone who has only 3 feedbacks, and already 2 of those are negs for non-payment has bid on my item. Can I cancel their bid, even though there is no warning that I will do this on my auction? I just listed the item last night, so I'm hoping that there are ptjer bodders. bit what if this dead beat wins my auction?!

Revise your item description to say what you wanted to say about negative feedback. And, yes cancel their bid. I don't see why you can't. Better dealing with it now then later.

You can cancel any bids that you want and block any bidders- you don't have to have some disclaimer in your auction at all. -Steph

Thanks. I'm going to do just that. I had a heck of a time with non-paying bidders during Christmas time. I don't want to go through that if I can avoid it.

I agree with the others...in the future make sure you make it very clear that you don't want people with negative feedback bidding on your auctions. Whew...this was a simple case.

I would cancel their bid manually and then block them from rebidding and then add more information to my listing that bidders with negative feedback will be cancelled.

You need to monitor your auctions to be sure more bidders with enough negative feedback to trigger your cancel threshold don't persist for long periods of time.
