Dis check before work, listen to Disney music in car to work, try to concentrate on work (unless someone mentions Disney), Disney music in car going home, another Dis check, supper, Dis check, TV show, Dis check....ahhhhh! another cool thread to answer....use the dewrinkle setting on the dryer for the tenth time because I was doing a Dis check.....seeing a pattern. I am a bonified Disney Freak. Oddly it is not about the characters or movies...just the music and actual Parks.

That should be my post too! I intend on going to bed at a decent hour but always end up on here studying...now that we've become members I've become obsessed! I'm not even watching my favorite shows anymore! Do you think they'll name a show after us? They have hoarders.....we could be the Internet Dissers. We need intervention!! LOL It doesn't help that I have to make my first reservation on Sunday morn!!! I'm so nervous! LOVE LOVE LOVE the disboards!

I throw a little Disney into a lot of things in my day to day life unconsciously.

I was in the pool talking to my teenage son and husband when we were at Vero. Almost 1/2 of what I was telling them was DIS BOARD Acronym talk. They were looking at me like I had horns growing out of my head. I don't even call most Disney rides by their names anymore....

I even text stuff without realizing it sometimes to my dh ..about Disney and it is all in code he says. He sits there trying to break the DIS board code.


He calls the Dis some kind of Disney CULT!!!!!

Oh! Ya'll that manage to do In the middle of vacuuming!! Gotta show the rest of us up doncha!? I went to the grocery store today (which i hate almost as bad as cleaning toilets), dusted and vacuumed my first floor (including cleaning the freaking cat hair off the furniture), cleaned the powder room, swiffered and put the garbage out. But alas...no laundry!!

I watched tv with hubby for a couple of hours then I came up to start the dishwasher and the MAGNETIC PULL HAPPENED AGAIN................STARTED DISHWASHER AND JUST HAD TO POP ON HERE FOR A BIT.

Just got back midnight on Sunday from 10 nights at Disney and 4 at Vero.... Have to say.........still checked out Dis most days while were there. It is a true addiction I fear.

I speak in DIS all the time and it gets me no where......DH just doesn't get it and gives me the "look". It would be sooooo much easier if he would just learn the language.

I NEVER check the Dis boards while we are away. I don't own a laptop. I do have a Blackberry and check email but I NEVER bother checking in to the Disboard while we are on vaca.

I'd rather be with my family while we are away then spend time informing people on this DIS board about everything that I am doing while I am doing it.

I used to not check disboards while at WDW but now that there is a free internet... It's an addiction. But I made sure only to check it when DD is napping and DH is konked out after walking around the park all day

We don't have the techno ability to ever do a live report....but I, like most others, hop on the minute I get home to see what I have missed!!! CRAZY...my DH just shakes his head and walks away.

I am new here so I dont have alot of posts yet, nor have I figured out how to make a ticker, or edit my signature. I spend alot of time reading the dis-boards and now that I have a I-phone with the great dis-app I spend even more time on the boards! My dh and my kids think I am nuts

For me, Live trip reports end geting filled up (or bogged down) with so much personal minutia after a time that I just stop reading after a day or two. LIVE trip reports make WISH THAT I WAS THERE but rarely make me feel like I am there.

Anyway, I spend too much time checking the boards when I am at home but I when I am away on vacation, I am away from the boards and I just don't feel a need to check in here and give/get updates. To each his own.

You have to pick and choose those LIVE reports...I only follow ones that interest me. I too agree...too much information gets a bid wordy/boring, but there are some on here that I love to follow their trips..especially DVC Mike. He has great reports and pictures. There are some that do great reports. Like you said..... to each his own. Pick and choose what you feel like replying to on Dis....

I should be packing (we are moving in 4 weeks), doing laundry, finishing my window/door decorations for Dancing at Disney trip in 75 days, finishing touches on three Halloween costumes and shopping for remaining family members' costumes for MNSSHP, shopping for school supplies, grocery shopping, catching up on Facebook, spending time with my 4 year-old, spending time with my family generally, but ALAS, I am here on the Dis ... and I've removed myself twice this morning only to be drawn back to lurk some more. It is truly an addiction ... HAHAHAHA!
