Someone HELP?

Well, I'm not sure how I did it but when changing my user picture for my computer, I somehow turned something on and now everytime I click I hear a sound. It's driving me insane. Does anyone know how to fix it? I have Windows XP.

Did you select a theme for the computer and not just a new background for the desktop?

Click on START>Control Panel
If you are in Classic View, choose Sounds and Audio Devices>
If you are in Category View, choose Sounds, Speech and Audio devices>Change the Sound Scheme,

select the Sounds tab in either mode and note the speaker symbol next to each type of prompt under Windows. One of those is set that wasn't previously, is my guess.
