Someone help with borrowing points?

Before I book my first DVC trip, I was hoping someone might be able to help me with this.

Home Resort: Saratoga Springs- February Use Year
2019: 120 Points
2020: 120 Points
2021: 120 Points
360 points total

My family wants to book a 1 bedroom in January at Animal Kingdom-Standard View 162 Points (120 of my 2019 + 42 of 2020 points):

We also want to go in November and get 2 studios at Saratoga: 92 points per studio. I can use the remaining 78 points of 2020 and then borrow by 2021 points to book these, is that correct?

I wasn't sure where I could ask this question on a Sunday night and I wanted to make sure before I screwed up anything.

Just realize that planning a January trip with a February UY is fraught with peril lol. If people get sick and can’t go, you almost certainly will not be able to take the trip later in the month and will lose the points. For my winter trips (since I have a February UY as well) I make sure to have the family eat well, take our vitamins, take our antioxidant powerhouse drink, and wash hands often, to reduce the chances of illness.

There is trip insurance through Dvc, but it only gives you back the dues for those lost points, if you cancel the trip for covered reasons.

That was something I was aware of. Typically we go in the fall but because this is a new toy, we definitely wanted to go sooner. I will have my family in bubble wrap weeks before this trip to ensure we go.
