This is driving me nuts !!!

Given ANY destination choice in the world ... I'll choose WDW EVERYTIME.

Single mom of two dds ... live paycheck to paycheck ... but researched and planned both trips as though they were a doctoral thesis. Did both trips quite economically .... even the 'last one we would ever take' ... in December of 2002, (stayed at AKL with a Savannah view and at WL with a Deluxe view).

Apparently ... I've overdosed my daughters on these trips ... as they feel 'they've been there and done that'.

Facing college expenses with oldest dd in another year and a half, and certainly would be foolish to consider another trip to WDW ..... BUT .... youngest dd will be spending a month in Florida with a friend this coming June. Friend's father will be taking them to WDW for a day or more .... thinking (aka fantasizing), of flying down with oldest dd and surprising youngest by just 'showing up somewhere' ....

Am I truly crazy ... or should I just DO IT

This would be a COMPLETE SECRET outside of friend's father and myself. Oldest wouldn't have a clue until we were headed for the airport.

Please give some sanity ... to this otherwise INSANE IDEA !!!!!

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL FELLOW DIS'ERS

I would love to tell you to just do it...BUT if you were your daughter would you want your mom/sister suprising you and interuping a planned trip with best friend/family. I guess the answer would depend on your relationship with your daughters, and where they are now. The good news is...WDW isn't going anywhere. You can always go again, college expenses and money with only a year and a half to go(one year at the time of her trip) is one of those things you have to decide. Personally I would rather see you post something like I am planning a trip the week I send my last child off to college(since you will need something to do with no children around the house). I wish you the best...you could probably do a short trip for under a thousand dollars-maybe even 500 depending where you are coming from and choices. I know you love WDW but it doesn't sound like your daurghters do(but hopefully that will change) :grouphug: All the best!
