We leave in just 7 1/2 days (Jan 9th) for our first trip to WDW (myself, my adult son, and his 8 y/o daughter) I eat anything, but my son and GD are the world's pickest eaters. He will not eat anything with onions, she won't touch anything with tomatoes, and neither will eat anything they don't recognize. Anyway I made PS at the following restaurants and am afraid they won't like them. What do you think?

Chef Mickeys (dinner), Donald's Breakfastosaurus, Whispering Canyon (dinner), Cindy's (Princess Breakfast), Crystal Palace (dinner), Hollywood & Vine Fantasmic Pkg, & Bomas (dinner).

I'm pretty sure we won't do Bomas (as much as I would love to eat there, I don't think they'll be able to find anything and besides I'm surprising my son with the Richard Petty Driving Experience that morning and we have tickets for the 9:00 pm show of La Nouba that night so we may not have time to get back over there anyway--ressie is at 5:30 pm). I also didn't plan anything for the day we go to Epcot--I'm afraid they're going to starve that day :D :D . Any suggestions for Epcot for VERY pickey eaters?

Anyway please grade the above restaurants for pickey eaters. Thanks!!

I don't like tomatoes or onions either. So I can sympathize. (But yet like ketchup, sauce, etc. All that sugar gets rid of that acidic taste.) ;)

I would take them to The Land in Epcot (as long as it is open). That is pretty all American food and a nice selection.

And of course ay Amercian Adventure there is the typical American junk food.

I eat at San Angel Inn and Alfredos with no problem.
Le Cellier would maybe be good too for them.
I can't say I have had a problem with selection at any WDW restaurant.

Even Boma's I am sure they will walk away full. Lots of good choices there and everything is good.

I have not done a lot of the restaurants you listed, except Crystal Palace and Boma's. CP -- Fine food, for a typical buffet.

We have eaten at all of these except Boma's and our picky DS ate fine at all of them. There are children choices on all buffets, and simple carved options at all for adults too. I found most foods at WCC have a smoked flavor but the rest of my family really liked it.

Of the place you named, I've only been to Donald's Breakfastosaurus and Hollywood & Vine. But at both of those, my very picky kids (and their farily picky parents!)found plenty to eat.

Epcot can be difficult for non-adventurous eaters, especially with Garden Grill closed. Le Cellier might be a good choice. If they like fish and chips, Rose & Crown is an option. If they like seafood, there's Coral Reef.

I've been to CP for dinner and liked it a lot but I didn't love it. The food was OK. Chef Ms for breakfast twice. Both times we loved it. The breakfast buffet is awesome! In september we went with 16 people, 6 being kids and no one had any problems finding something that they liked. Cindy's we did lunch. Atmosphere was great but the food wasn't.

A lot of the restuarants at Epcot are surprisingly mild.

Teppenyaki is a Benihana's style grill. The use onions, but will leave them out. But you can do steak with grilled veggies and rice.

Biergarten has chicken, potato salad, sausages, green salad....plus some more "might not recognize it" offerings.

Le Cellier is a steakhouse.

You can head over to Spoodles on the Boardwalk, which is a short walk from Epcot.

I think your timing is too tight for Boma. But Boma was my biggest disappointment, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I wouldn't do Boma's unless you checked out the kid's menu and it had things your GD would like. Even then your son might not like it. We went recently and my 5yo did fine (he's a good eater), but the place was lost on my 81yo mother. She ended up at the kid's table. Oh well, my sister and I love the place. When I go to WDW with my 11yo son in a few weeks we won't be going to Boma because my son is very picky and would not do well there. We might try out Jiko, though, since that kid's menu looks better for him.

We ate at Whispering Canyon for lunch and my mother loved her meal.

Not on your list, but my mother also enjoyed 50's Prime Time Cafe a lot.

No experience with the other restaurants on your list, at least not for the meals that you're interested in.

Wow! If they are picky eaters, you are probably smart going with the selections you did. Also, I can't eat onions, either... they don't like me. When you go for your PS and are at the podium to be seated, let the host/hostess know that you have people with you who can't eat certain things. Usually, in that case they can have a chef come out, and walk you through the menu/buffet so you will know the ingredients before going up. This may make it much easier for you. I have noticed the last couple of times when we have checked in for PS, we were asked if we had any food allergies.. this is a great time to bring it up. May save a headache for all of you!
