Some questions about Intimate Weddings...

1. Is there any way to have an Intimate wedding at the Wedding Pavillion other than Mon-Thurs?
2. What was the extra cost for staying at a deluxe hotel? The package price given is for a moderate.
3. Is it cheaper to book the Intimate package or the Intimate Add-On? The only difference is the hotel and tickets, if I am correct. Is it only cheaper if you can get a good discount on the rooms? Would one be better depending on a moderate/deluxe?
4. If you used Randy Chapman for photography, were you charged an outside vendor fee? Also, were you allowed to substitute Disney Photography for another session or do you just waive that part of the package? Also, how much were your packages from Randy and what did they include?

1) I believe the Wedding Pavilion for the other days are reserved for Custom Weddings only.
2) If you contact Disney travel, you will be able to get rates for the Deluxe hotels. We're staying at a value resort for the first two days and at a Deluxe for the remaining 5 nights.
3) When you book the hotel and wedding at the same time, you are paying standard rates. We are booking through AAA and are going to save 15% on value resorts and 10% on deluxe. The intimate wedding add on is $2350 but you still get all of the options you would get if you had booked it the other way. This ended up being cheaper for us by about $500.
4) If you PM me, I can give you the rates I received for Randy. You sign a contract when you book your wedding stating you could be charged an outside vendor fee. Everyone here has had different experiences with that so I'm sure you'll get more insight from others as I've not had my wedding yet.

I believe you can have the WP on weekends but only if you are booking fairly last minute and it is available- not sure about that though
We stayed at the GF and had a WP wedding- the package cost for that was about 5,455 from 4,200 for the basic WP package
We were not charged a fee for using Randy. However they will not refund any part of the package price. Instead, it was applied to a hm session- we paid $50, the usual price is $295.

I know a lot of things have been changing so I hope this information is not out of date already.

The only question I can really answer is #2. We had our wedding at the Pavilion on a Tuesday. We had Grand Floridian Lagoon View for 7 days and it was approximately $6,300.00 for EVERYTHING (wedding and honeymoon). That was last year, so I am sure the pries went up...oh, and that was a package, not the add-on.
