Some possible updates about upcoming refurbs!

From a reliable source on another site:

Splash Mountain going down for rehab in January like it does every year.

Hall of presidents going down from Nov. to April as we already know.

Haunted Mansion possibly going down for a rehab late January to mid February.

Space Mountain down from April to November, but he's saying that this is too short for anything TOO major, so this might not be the refurb we've been hearing of.

that HM one also sounds more like Disneyland to remove the NBC overlay

Here's hoping the Space Mountain downtime is for real. I am in the minority for not wanting them to duplicate DL's version. A little update with some innovative tech, fresh paint, new entrance and exit and that's enough.

I was thinking the WDW HM just had a pretty major rehab. I would be surprised if it was down again for more.

I agree. The only reason Disneyland's track was rebuilt was it was falling apart. Unless MK's version is also falling apart, I can't see why they'd spend that much money for what is probably the least important factor in the enhancements.

It would seem that just updating the lighting, effects, etc., would achieve the same result.

Of course, who knows if they really plan to do much in the way of enhancements anway. And with all the cuts happening, I wouldn't think any project is safe from the axe right now.
