So we checked in on thursday at midnite.. we had booked a King suite..this is the room we walked into (1 bedroom suite)

These are just some pictures.. we had rose petals on the door key thing as well..It was breathetaking to come into..it was Disney magic..we did not expect anything ..I had told them we were coming for our anniversary when I booked the room!! I Luv Disney!!!

Yes I am using nap time wisely and posting pics!!! My DH and I just got in from our date nite.. it was a great time.so different without kids in Disney..we really just took time and did more adult themed things (or things not aimed at the 5 & under crowd) . I will see how many pics I can get up tonite.. we are doing early entry again in am, so I need to be up by 5..I will more than likely put pics up during tomorrows nap time!!

I also went to City Hall, long story short, we did not get on TSMM this am after ariels breakfast, we were told no by manager, only to find out during the Pixar parade that the same group from breakfast (we sat next to for parade) were all escorted to front of line. She said there were about 20 of them from Ariels..anyhow, I was not to happy considering we were told NO and then she did it anyway,,so long story short, the lady who I saw this am & pm is also a CM..she said go to city hall..so I did..and I got a readmission pass..the first ever she claims that has been issued for that ride. It is good any time tomorrow, like a fast pass good for 5 people..we are only 4..but its good enough for us! I said you know we paid over $100 for breakfast, its the least you can do, considering we also had to give up time in DL and htey let us into park late...

Ok that was way to long!! I will get more pics up as sooon as I can !!

Looking at your photos, I have to ask..... Was this the corner suite on the 3rd or 4th floor that has the living room balcony that overlooked the Grizzly River Rapids on one side and the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail on the other balcony? The one where it was wonderful to open your door in the early morning and hear that beautiful soothing music they play in that area of the park?

If it was, we stayed in the same suite for our honeymoon in Dec of 2001. How funny!

yes its on the 4th floor!! Rite now we can hear piano music..and im am the music outside..so very nice!!

I don't have time to do pictures yet.I was exhausted today and actually napped...now I need to get everyone up and over to DCA for toy story!

How ironic! I'm so glad you are enjoying it like we did. We were married at GCH and that was the suite they gave us for our wedding weekend! I got ready and dressed for the wedding in that very room (and we're still married with 2 little ones), so it has good karma!

We used DVC points for all the rooms for our wedding party and family and then paid for the upgrade to a suite - a wedding present for my husband! He was so excited! We absolutely loved that room - I want to see if we can get it for our 10th anniversary (I have 3 more years to plan it)!

Can we see pix of the other room too? I've never stayed in a suite there, is it the same size as having two rooms and are the rooms completely closed off with a door or open to each other?

Has the DVC construction been an issue for you? Is it even visible from where you are?
