Some Pics from the Stars & Motorcars Parade...

These were taken last Thursday (17th) at MgM. DH was part of the pre-parade show--he got to growl at the woman with the mike. She gave him a rubber chicken keychain-lol! Of course he had the camera around his neck so I didn't even get a pic of it!!!

The cars actually go by in a different order, but I uploaded the pics out of order. Anyway--enjoy!

Your pics are wonderful!! We will be going to the World for the fourth time in four years in three 1/2 weeks and this is the only parade we have yet to see! I made a vow to myself to finally see this parade and your pics have definitely given me that extra push!!

Thanks guys! It is the first time I have uploaded something here, so I'm glad you liked them.

We never saw this parade before, but thought the cars and the bright colors were really cool!

Hope you enjoy the parade when you go down Christine! The spot we picked (right in front of the bathrooms by Radio Disney) was nice because it was shady at the time of the parade and was pretty close to the parade start. Once the parade went by, we could head off in the direction of Star Tours or any of the other attractions in the back of the park, while lots of others were still watching the parade go by. I would definitely choose this spot again!

What a nice job on all of your pics! I always want to know: what kind of camera did you use? I bought an Olympus 170 for our trip to Disneyland this past April. I cannot tell you how disappointing it was when my pics came back. They were awful. I took the camera back and am now cameraless - again.

We just bought a JVC digital recorder. My husband has taken some stills with it and they came out really nice.
