Hi all,

Well I am well on my way to making everything I need for our upcoming trip to Disneyland Paris. I love the Mickey's Grand Welcome, and think the Mickey and Pals Big Birthday celebration thing is wonderful, so I thought I'd take some bits from each and create a Mickey and Pals Big Grand Welcome!

I have printed lots of the graphics (welcome banner, stroller tags etc) and just need to laminate them - will take photos when that is all done - still need to make some badges etc. The autograph book is printed, and I just need to decide whether to bind it or just have them loose for now. I have to re-cover the gift boxes I'm using for the Mickey and Pals celebration but the gift items to go in them are nearly there.

For the Donald box I made bubble bath, gingerbread men and candy:

and a water bottle:

For Minnie's gift, I had a couple of things, but made some candy and bubble bath:

From Goofy, we have a plush and some chocolate coins:

From Mickey we have a few things, including a signed photo :rolleyes1 (DH says it looks like my writing, I don't know what he means!

Other general stuff I have made so far includes:

Candy tents (the pyramid ones):

lots and lots and lots of chocolate coins:

and some really cool chocolate trains, which I'm really pleased with:

and some 'Jellytots by Jessie':

So, thats it for now. More photos as I do more bits. Can't wait to get my transfer paper and start making some shirts. Woo hoooo!!

Thank you to ALL the DISigners who helped with various graphics and templates! It really has been fun doing, and hopefully will make the magic even more magical for my DS. :cloud9:

Love Rachel x

Those look great! How did you make those chocolate coins? They look big and I love the disigns and the red foil. What are jelly tots?

:thumbsup2 Nice job! Everything looks great! Can't wait to see your t-shirts!

Thanks for commenting, I'm really pleased with them all.

Thanks! The chocolate coins are actually ones that I bought in Sainsburys (English supermarket) just after Christmas. They were the ones you purchase in singles rather than in bags. Normally they are about £1 each, but I got them for 15p each, with an best before date of September 2012 (like they'll last that long near my family :lmao:). I just printed some of the DISigners Mickeyheads out, and stuck them on with glue. And for the circle patterns ones, I just found graphics on google, and in Dolly's 4shared file. They are really effective, and (hopefully) His Highness will love them!

I didn't realise Jellytots weren't in America. They are little chewy sweets made of gelatine, covered in sugar. Yum yum!! :lovestruc

You did a great job on all your goodies!! :)
How did you make the Disney money?

Thanks!

One of the DISigners has them in their photobuket or 4shared file. I am really sorry, I can't remember who it was :confused3. I made a list, so I could thank everyone individually, and at the moment I can't find the list - how stupid is that?! :headache: If I find it, I will let you know!

The holder thing I just made myself.

I just :lovestruc the items you have made! What a wonderful surprise!

Ok I'm with pp I would love to know where you got the Disney $'s and the candy tents? Both would be such good additions to my upcoming trip!

Hi Rachel
Fab pictures. Love all the different things u've done with the disigns. I've got lots of things downloaded & want to start making some things for our trip in April, but not sure where to start. Think you have inspired me to get started on my day off tomorrow tho! Going to search for pyramid sweets and mOney wallet now, as havent seen those on my travels around the dis yet!!
