Some OKW observations

Love the sponser pot holder idea...

And I will toss a set of potholders in my bag for our trip next month.

(I suppose for now, those with owner's lockers should add Pot holders to their lists..)

We almost always stay at BWV, and usually need to call housekeeping or engineering at least once during our stay. I do a walk-thru when we arrive, make sure that everything looks OK, turn on the stove burners to make sure they work....check the locks on the bathroom and bedroom doors. There's something about those locks, they break very easily. Mostly, I call about a missing kitchen item.
At home, throw pillows get drooled on and used constantly, but that's ok, they're your own germs. While at BWV, I'm going by the assumption that previous guests use the throw pillows the same way I do at home. For that reason, I DON'T use the throw pillows at BWV!! I store them in the closet with the bedspread until the end of our stay;)
Every unit is going to have normal wear and tear as well as missing items. I do call for service when there is an issue. It is our experience that housekeeping and engineering have been very responsive and apologetic.
