hey girls. so i was wondering,

how far in advance do i need to call disney hair to make an appointment?

do i contact disney photography or does em?

did anyone order the rose wands for their flower girl? i would like my bridesmaids to each have one.

do all the intimate wedding cakes look the same? we are having an at home reception and i would like my cake maker to copy it.

is 4 hours enough time to go to the court house? we are using our limo service for this, since i'll be getting ready at the ceremony location.

Hi Jessica,

As soon as you know that you want Disney Cosmo to do your hair or make-up or both, just let your EM know. She will make the arrangements for you The sooner you know the better, but they will try to accomodate you even if you wait till the last minute as they have many people who work for their Cosmo department. I added on my sister with like two weeks to go and it was no problem.

Your photography package is included with your intimate package. you do not need to contact the photogrpaher. About two weeks before your wedding, your EM will let you know who your photographer will be. You may contact them if you wish if you have any questions or want to be specific about certain shots that you want, or don't want. (this is actually not a bad idea)
Also another thing to keep in mind is that if you plan on purchasing all your proofs, you need to let Disney know ahead of time. If you wait till afterwards, you have to pay a much higher price for them.
Whatever flowers you want, just let your EM know and she will accomodate you. She will put you in touch with Rosie from Disney floral. She is great!

As far as the cake goes, they are all basically the same. Although the colors of the flowers and the design of the iceing could be different depending on who makes it. Every intimate gets the same cake topper unless you pay $ to have a different one.
Each intimate gets to pick what flavor cake they want and what filling as well. We had a similar cake at our home reception but I had the second layer on pillars as I wanted a fancier look. We kept the same topper, so it did look similar to our cake at Disney. Everyone was asking if it was the same one...(as if we could have kept it in that good of condition from Florida..lol)

As far as going to the court house, we did not go as we did ours by mail, but I am sure 4 hours is plenty of time. I've heard of others doing it with in that amount of time. You may want to plan another special outing during that time period as well. Take advantage of the full four hours because your time in the limo can not be broken up.

You have plenty of time I would suggest you read thought the board and look at the picture post. I decided to go w/ outside photography. Randy Chapman Photography did my pictures and not only are they top quality they were a much better deal than I would have gotten through Disney.
