I decided spontaneously to do MNSSHP a second time last night and noticed some little changes I figured I would pass on..
If you don't knwo what this is, if you have an allergy or diet restriction and the candy is not an option, you can still trick or treat (or have your child trick or treat). Just ask for the allergy bag, which is blue and you will collect tokens instead of candy. 1 or 1000 tokens are the same reward at the end so you do not need to go crazy if your unable to do so (or just adults and don't need the full every line trick or treating expereince). There is 2 locations to redeem from, get the MNSSHP map when you get into the party to see where they are in case they changed since this post.
Allergy Trick or Treating:
- The bags have changed and now branded for the party, they are also smaller.
- The tokens aren't child playset poker chips and now say redeem for allergy safe treats.
- The CMS are better prepared for this now, any CM in a trick or treat line has the tokens.
- (same as before) You don't need to get more than 1 token to get a full bag of treats when you redeem so if your an adult and not looking to run to all the lines, just get your bag, first token and keep it in a safe place until your ready to carry around a bag of candy. You can go down the line so if you are donig the trick or treating as a group and some are getting the regular candy you can share the same experience. If you don't need to get the regular candy, just talk to the CM next to the large "trick or treat" entrance balloon or whatever you call those things (you'll understand when you see it).
- The candy and non-candy list has changed. See attached photo for a picture of what they offer.
- when you redeem you just tell them what you can have from the sheet and they load up your bag.
- They also have some gummi worms which do not appear on the list however I just told them I wanted everything but the bottom left 2 and found the worms in the bag when I got home. same brand as the others so made the same, just new shape.
- the line was very short and efficient going in with the mass crowd leaving when the park closed..
