There's a guy on laughingplace.com, and based on track records I trust his information as much as the list that Jim Hill posted, that says that the Apple Dumpling Gang, Escape to Witch Mountain, and Return to Witch Mountain are coming out on dvd in september. He didn't have any word on what the releases would be like, but it is pretty clear from all the hints around that Apple Dumpling Gang was going to be in the Vault Disney releases, so maybe that will be a 2-disc special edition. Who knows. If they do come out in September maybe I'll be able to find the love bug by then.

I heard the same thing but not in either of the two places you mentioned. Unfortuately, I can't recall where I read it. I am looking forward to treating my daughter to non-animated movies that I so enjoyed as a kid.

I saw this on yahoo-

"Getting the week off to a good start with some fun retro action, just in from Buena Vista Home Entertainment are a few September 2nd catalog and new release announcements.

First up we have the classics anyone who grew up in the 70's remembers all too well, The Apple Dumpling Gang and the spooky Escape to Witch Mountain and its sequel, Return to Witch Mountain. Each gets the special edition treatment, with remastered and THX-certified anamorphic widescreen transfers and soundtracks, plus extras to be announced. Retail is $24.95 each.

More street dates include Holes, which hits DVD on September 2nd, and The Lizzie McGuire Movie, which streets on August 26th. Both will be available in separate anamorphic widescreen and full screen versions, and retail for each is $29.95. Watch this space for more... "

If anyone is keeping track of Hill's batting average, these weren't on his "complete list" of video releases - imho, probably a reflection of the randomness and lack of direction in BVHV more than anything - It looks like the last of the second round of the "Vault disney" titles have staggered in, but then I still haven't found a love bug yet.
