Hey people! I have some last minute questions. If anybody here has some answers please help a person that went to universal studios a long, very long time ago.

1.Where can you find Internet access for free or paying $ for it around Royal Pacific Resort, Universal Studios, or Citywalk?

2.Is guest relation is the only place to ask question like when the restaurants will close for the people that have the meal tickets or other kinds of questions? Do they have other places inside the theme park where people can ask to confirm the time they will close for that day? About park hours changes in case Memorial Day is too crowded. Maybe they will add a meal deal participating restaurant for that day? Also, I want to ask just in case they have those not on the program or private party fireworks.

I hate waiting in that BIG line in front of the park just for these very important questions. Maybe calling universal for questions for the day will be faster and easier! What is the Phone number for calling the front of the park guest services?

3.The $7.99 sipper cup has to be carried around the parks? There is no other way to use the sipper cup program? Can I ask for another kind of proof (maybe something placed on my meal bracelet) to avoid carrying a cup around the parks? Anybody has a description for the cup? Is it BIG? Fits in the lockers? Comes with a straw? What happens if one of my kids forgets where he putted his/her cup and the cup ends up being lost? Description for the cup please!

4. I usually hold the kids tickets, all 2 day tickets are the same, and now I have 4 more nephews and nieces coming with my family to universal, They also have 2 day tickets, but on the second day, how can universal or I tell whose tickets is whose? I don’t want them to embarrass me for not being able to tell which person in the family used the ticket the day before. Can I just put them thru the machine, and let universal figure out whose fingerprint matches the ticket? I think is better if they scan the fingerprint first, and then they tell me the bar number for that fingerprint/ticket. The easiest and faster way to enter the park on the second day for 9 people please!

5. Will the ticket loose value after it have been used on the first day? I mean if I buy a 99.00 ticket and then on the second day I decide it to upgrade it to a power pass. The ticket will be valued at 50.00 dollars and not 99.99 the price is bought for? This means, do not wait for the second day if a person wants to upgrade a ticket because he/shewill loose money?

Okay I guess those are my last minute questions!

as for #4) I would suggest taking a pen and marking initials at the bottom of the ticket with the person who originally used the ticket. Our 2d/3rd day free ticket from AAA made us actually print and sign the front of our ticket so that was never an issue.

Last week they were having some issues with ticket turnstiles and they wouldn't accept hardly anyones finger print. The worker simply overroad the system and let us in anyways. The third day we went I wanted to see if they actually did scan the fingers so as a test I gave my ticket to my wife and I used hers (keep in mind our names were on them plain as day. The ticket machine didn't baulked on the finger prints but the attendee looked at the names and let us through anyways (even with the wrong persons tickets).

As a similar test at WDW the same week. I also exchanged my ticket with my wife's. We both got accepted through the tournstile will approved finger scans for the wrong cards. They simply were making us go through the motions but not doing anything with the scans. I don't know if the same is the case at UO as the lockers do run off of finger prints and they do only work with the original persons finger print.

Good idea! And to make the idea better I can take an ugly, not expensive pen or pencil . I have brung a pen before to write down on my hand the locker number to where our stuff is in, but after the first roller coaster ride the pen or pencil is usually gone. Thanks.

Most of the rooms have it. It is a rate per hour or day. For printing airline boarding passes, etc. you can use one at guest services for no charge.

]Is guest relation is the only place to ask question like when the restaurants will close for the people that have the meal tickets or other kinds of questions?

Not the only place but if you want accurate information, I'd ask there.

Do they have other places inside the theme park where people can ask to confirm the time they will close for that day? About park hours changes in case Memorial Day is too crowded.

Park hours will be posted at the parking booths, at the gates, and in the park maps. The meal deal is good up to 30 minutes before park closing.

Maybe they will add a meal deal participating restaurant for that day?

Ask at Guest services.

I hate waiting in that BIG line in front of the park just for these very important questions.
The long lines are at the Guest service windows. Go inside the park and go to the guest service lobby. There is seldom a line there.

]What is the Phone number for calling the front of the park guest services?

You can't call the lobby. You can talk to a guest service coordinator by calling the main Universal phone number and listening to the prompts and pressing the number they give to speak to Guest services. You will talk to the phone room guest service not the Guest service in the front of the park. Most of them work inside the park and also work the phone room.

The $7.99 sipper cup has to be carried around the parks?

Yes. Or put it in a locker or backpack.

There is no other way to use the sipper cup program? Can I ask for another kind of proof (maybe something placed on my meal bracelet) to avoid carrying a cup around the parks?
Sorry there is no other proof. You must have the cup.

Anybody has a description for the cup? Is it BIG? Fits in the lockers? Comes with a straw?
Not really big but not small. It is about the size of a large (not jumbo) drink. It has a flexible straw.

What happens if one of my kids forgets where he putted his/her cup and the cup ends up being lost?
Go to Guest services and tell them.

How can universal or I tell whose tickets is whose?

Just sign the tickets.

Will the ticket loose value after it have been used on the first day?

The ticket will have the same value whether it is the first day or the last day. You can upgrade them anytime as long as they haven't been used up or expired.

OMG, phamton a guest service lobby inside the park? No wonder the line must be short! This is the first time I know this type of info and I have been to universal before! What a wonderfull thing to have guest service lobby inside the park, too!

About signing the tickets, "Just sign the tickets."(Phamton)
I though that the ones that comes with 2 lines were the only ones that have to be signed.
This means that evryone in the family can sign the tickets anywhere were the big blue ball is, on the first day and still the ticket will be accepted by the machine on the second day? I don`t want to void a ticket by putting grafitti on it because these tickets comes with no blank line for the signature.

And finally, Thanks for all your help/answers phamton, I will have to print this because it has too much info on it and I don`t want to forget and then be confused at the parks.

You can put your name, initials, or anything on the ticket as long as it doesn't cover up the barcode. The Guest Service lobby is on your right after you go through the turnstiles in both parks.

Initials will not work because 3 people in the family have the same initials.
I will put the name on the other side of the ticket were there is a picture of a big ball, a lighthouse tower, and a building entrance.

Which guest service for no charge you are refering here? RPR? Citywalk? USF?

If you need it for printing off boarding passes, you can use the guest services at IOA or Universal. You need to go to the GS Lobby to use it. You can't just use it to check email, etc. though. If you plan to do business or just surf the net, you need to pay for internet usage at the hotels.

First, let me say sorry for asking too many questions, but I have one last question.

What about if U decide to add a day at the park, but you know that online is chaper than buying the ticket onsite. let me explain....
I enter universal theme park and while I am there I decide that I may want to buy another ticket for another day or for another fl resident in my party.
online price is 63.00 onsite price is 99.00.
The only way the person want the ticket is paying 63.00 or not buy it at all.
So this person talks to the guest service lobby and ask if he/she can order a fl resident ticket for another day, even though it may take longer than 24 for kiosk pick up, Do you think they will allow you to use their inside the park Internet to buy more tickets if you are enjoying yourself at USF and only will come back another day paying 63.00 dollars or any other online rates which are way much cheaper than onsite tickets?

Thanks

Yes, you can do that at Guest Services. It would be cheaper to order online if you need another ticket for someone that doesn't already have a ticket. If you already have a ticket and just wnat another day added to the ticket, it would be cheaper to upgrade that ticket to an extra day rather than to just order a new ticket.
