Hi disers!;)I really need your help...
i am getting really nervous about our room choice in SL in a few days. Back in February i chose Montana rooms just for getting a guaranteed refurbished Bambi theme room and the reservation CM told me that until my visit in August the Montana rooms will still be in the lodges and the standard rooms in the main building (as they were not going to be completely renovated until then).
Now 2 days ago i sent an e-mail at the SL asking about the possibility to get renovated Bambi theme rooms in the main building and today i got a really kind reply from them telling me that they could guarantee 2 interconnecting rooms in the main building but only 1st or 2nd floor..
Then this afternoon i decided to also make a call to the hotel directly to ask if there are hairdryers in the room. When i asked about the room location again, the not so friendly receptionist asked me my booking number and she said that sure she can allocate us 2 rooms in the main bulding but that is considered a downgrade from the more expensive Montana rooms we paid, even though the rooms at the first 2 floors of the main building are already renovated..I asked what's the difference between the renovated rooms in the main building and the lodges rooms and she said none, except that in the lodges you are closer to the pool and you can also get a high floor room (i wonder how many floors do the lodges have...:confused3)
She said that she switched my rooms to the main building now and if i change my mind i can call them back tomorrow to switch again to the lodges..
And now i am so confused what rooms are more worth, the lodges room or the 1st and 2nd floor renovated rooms of the main building...:confused3
Please help if you have any ideas and recommendations..I can tell you now that i feel so stupid for paying for Montana rooms if i cannot get my money worth...:sad2:
Thanks :)

We stayed in one of the renovated rooms in the main building in June, we were on the same floor as reception but it did seem like a long walk as we were in one of the corners. We had a safe and hairdryer and mini bar. We also had a free large bottle of water in our room when we arrived.

I think the lodges are only 2 or 3 storeys high

Thank you wildelady!:goodvibes You're the only one who responded but i think i made up my mind..I think i'm going to stick to the main building rooms and one of the reasons is that i think they're handy for being close to breakfast especially if it's going to be wet and cool in the early morning! And i'm very glad that those rooms contain a safe, a hairdryer and a mini bar!:)
