Hi,

I have been slowly working my way through the superthread but have a few questions about halloweentime at DLR.

We aren't able to make it to any of the parties so I was wondering about the following:

1) Is there any halloween merchandise available during normal park hours?
2) Do any of the characters do meet and greets in halloween outfits?
3) Is there anything else that happens during normal park hours that is 'halloweeny'? (I know about HM and SM changing)

Thanks in advance,

Only 3 weeks till our trip :)

1) Yes, there is plenty of Halloween merchandise available during normal park hours. There were only a handful of things I saw at the party that weren't there all day.

2) Yes, there are characters in costume during normal park hours. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, Chip and Dale for sure. There are also villains out all day for meet & greets.

Yes, halloween merchandise is available throughout the parks
2) Do any of the characters do meet and greets in halloween outfits?
Yes, many characters will be in halloween costumes, also the disney villians will be out

main street will be decorated for halloween, and the big thunder ranch area will have alot of halloween stuff.

Thanks guys :)

Great news :) We have really enjoyed the Halloween parties at WDW the past 2 years so glad to see we won't miss out on all the fun at DLR :)

Skipping the Party means that you won't be able to see the special entertainment (fireworks and parades), some characters, the ambience and of course, trick or treating.

You get to see everything else!

There's also a Day of the Dead display near Rancho del Zocalo, and the Halloween Tree in Frontierland. The tree is so cool at night, when it's all lit up.

The Thunder Mountain Ranch area has all sorts of amazing carved pumpkins. I think they actually have artists carving the pumpkins inside the ranch during the day.

Trust me, there is no doubt it's Halloween in the park! Lots of decorations everywhere. The party is fun--and the fireworks are AMAZING--but even if you don't go, there's plenty of holiday around.

It will be interesting to see if DCA is more decorated this year. Last year, there wasn't a ton of decor, but it was construction-o-rama. We saw Duffy dressed up as a jack-o-lantern, but that was it. It will be fun to see what (if anything) they do in Cars Land.

Yeah I wish we could do the party but we are from the UK and using DVC points so the accommodation was booked way before the dates were announced :( Still.at least we will get to see some of the Halloween fun :)
