Some great packing tips...esp for flyers....:)

Pack any valuables in ziploc baggies with your name in Sharpie marker on the outside of the bag. I'm referring to your cell phone...your wallet etc. This is to ensure at the check point for security that someone does not walk off with your items at the end of the security row. Obviously, you may not be able to put your wallet or watch in there until the very end but it will still help in the wrong person (as in criminal) picking up your items when you get sidetracked. I always have my camera hand checked and I have my name on my camera bag also. I have witnessed folks stating that they had items stolen off the belt aftewards....its not a good way to start a trip. (I also always pack extra ziplocs small and large and a Sharpie...just in case for other items)

As for packing...one of the most invaluable items I discovered on my honeymoon was the Downey spray dewrinkler! This stuff is absolutely amazing! It works like a charm and smells very pleasant also.

My last tip is to purchase a clear over the door shoe holder. I think I got mine at Target for about $6.00 about 3 years ago. Its almost invaluable for a family or a couple. You have so many comparments to put small items; bottles, medicines...etc. You can use it for socks..shoes..eye glasses..film..etc. It hangs right on the bathroom door and gives you tons of storage thats very easy to use and see! Its probably the best travel item I've ever stumbled upon.
