Nope, 5000 is it and they're adding bushes and other sight blockers along the lake to make sure traffic flow continues around the non-seating sides during the show.

I'm on record here as saying that's stupid but I think we're misinterpreting the purpose of the theater - I thought it was going to be a single, night capping event like Wishes or Fantasmic but the number of seats is equal to the number of seats in Lights, Motors, Camera stunt show which ran several times per day. My thought is that this is planned to be a night "show" and not a night "event" (I bet the night "event" will be in Pandora)

I disagree with this. This will be the night event that caps a day at AK. Clearly they had to work with th restraints of space in the area, not to mention making a giant stadium in AK would look ridiculous. This show will go right alongside Wishes, F!, and Illuminations as an Eticket nighttime show.

Think they are adjusting it so they can run multiple shows but don't expect beyond 30 minutes.

Thank you, I was just curious. I don't think my family will be making a return trip to WDW until after Pandora is open so by then RoL will have all the kinks worked out.

I do feel for people in this uncertain zone for their trips... we had that last trip with 7D Mine Cars, it was running with cast members and empty cars the week we were there but not guests Soft opening was the following week, but every day of our trip that we were in MK we would stop by multiple times to check just in case... oh well.

Thanks for the wonderful pictures. My birthday is 5/23 and we had planned to spend the whole day in AK. I know there is no new info out there. Hope it opens by then. We were all set (like I am sure most everyone else was) to book a dinner and show for this. We are there until June 4 so hopefully it will be open by then (or maybe a preview.
