Some Basic BCV questions

I'm closing on 300 points (resale) at BWV (use year March) in two weeks. Interested in picking up points from DVC at BCV.

1. What is the current minimum purchase at BCV ?
2. Are there any incentives at this time?
3. Is it that hard for anyone to keep track of two contracts with different use years? Any easy solution?

Once you complete your purchase of BWV, you can do an "add on" at BCV. The minimum for an "add on" purchase is 25 points. There are higher minimums for Disney financing and to take advantage of the MB program. If you are not already a DVC member, the minimum purchase is 150 points.

Currently, there is a Magical Beginnings incentive for BCV. Disney will buy back your first year's allotment of points for $5/point.

I have no experience managing more than one contract. Most posters say it isn't all that difficult.

BCV (and all other DVC resorts) will be going from $75 per point to $80 per point on June 2. If you are buying 150 BCV points or more, you can call for BCV before you close on the resale, it would be a separate contract. If you aren't buying 150 points, I would call next week and explain your situation maybe they will let you buy your add-on at the old price. You could probably still get BCV with March 2002 points. I don't think the $5 Magical Beginnings buy-back is worth it, you will be paying $3.71 dues on those points, so you are practically giving them away.

I can tackle the 3rd ????

I have 4 seprate contracts with two Use years. I dont think you would have any trouble getting a March use year to match your BWV UY. But I am not sure if you want to know the benifits of having two UY.

The bulk of our points have a December UY. BUt we just added on a 270 BWV add with a August UY.

Because of that we have two membership numbers. Not a real biggy.... (3 contracts under one membership number, only BWV has its own, but if we were to buy another Aug UY contract (HA NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!) It would be under BWV memebership number.... MAYBE. Anyone confirm?

Anyway I just booked a Concirege Collection ressie using my OKW points and my new BWV points with no problem. Even transfered some points from BWV contract to the OKW contract without penality, to complete a night. If we have to cancel the points would be put back in their respective accounts (with the transfered points staying transfered of course)

We also try to plan out which UY suits the time of year we want to travel. Another plus for it

Just to confirm, when I talked to my sales guide on Friday, the available use years at BCV currently for new owners was February through June, so March is definitely an option.
