Hi

I have a trip booked for next month to go to DLP with my sister and daughter as dbf said he did not want to go.

Last night he said that even though he does not want to go next month he would like to go later in the year, so this got me thinking that as we would of been to DLP 3 times already in a year (me & dd) could I try to convince him to go to WDW instead...

so I have spent the afternoon while he is at work putting together my argument. ( I think they are getting fed up with me planning there holiday when I am not going with them lol, well I have to pass on all the stuff I learn here on to them)

I priced up a 11 night trip for October and it is about £1000 more than a 5 day trip at the DLH however I think wdw it is better value as it includes flights.

We have already been to DLP. so wdw will be a nice change.

My mum & dad are going to wdw in September and dd will be hearing all about it and will want to go.

Better weather.

Anymore arguments to help me?

... if you're talking about the going to America instead of France the list would be quite long ;)

If you had a U2 tribute band playing in a local pub or a chance to see the real U2 at a stadium gig a bit further away, I'd pick the real deal everytime. That's the way I look at DLP compared to WDW; the former is a tribute to the real thing in Orlando and I'd personally rather go to America than France.

As you have already been to DLP a few times this year I can see the temptation.

Has your Dbf been to WDW before, can you sell him on things he will like ??

:sad2: no go, he does not want to fly that far this year :confused3 however he has agreed to Castle Club at the DLH so that will have to keep me going untill wdw next year.

How are you travelling to DLP? Eurostar? Driving? How long will it take you from leaving your house to arriving DLP. It might surprise you that an extra 4-6 hours and you would be in WDW. I would sacrifice that amount of time anytime. If money would allow us to go to WDW every year we would. This year we are camping in France so we can see DLP on the cheap.

I hope you can persuade him. I would argue that whats an extra few hours? Just imagine the little extras you would have. Especially travelling in October you can see MNSCHP and Universal Studios halloween parties. They are great fun. Something not to be missed.
