Hello all....need a little advice......went on the 7 day Western Magic on May 10th...had a wonderful time....great weather.....bought into the vacation club on board...all was good.....booked next May 8th Western....already had the 3 day Wonder booked for September 11th before we got on board....spoke to the young lady booking future cruises onboard and she upped my onboard credit from the 50 I had to 100.....when we got home we decided to to go on the 7 day eastern sailing on November 29th....we are trying a second time for this month....were part of the cancelled cruise last year.....called DCL about the onboard credit for November and they suggest I cancel May and move the reservation to November....then rebook for May on the November cruise....(hope I am not confusing you guys)...but to get the 200 credit for November might end up costing me if the cost of the May cruise goes up....so I have to decide what to do.....any suggestions....
Thanks....Tom

leave the May reservation for now - you've still done nothing more than make your deposit, correct? and you would't have to pay the balance until after your November cruise anyhow.

go on your November cruise, and then just book another reservation for the May cruise to get your credit (assuming as you figure, the price doesn't go up). then, if you do book, cancel the first reservation for the May cruise - you would still be far enough out to get a full refund of your deposit. if the price for the May cruise has gone up, then you don't have to rebook while on the November cruise.

I think that should work.
