Been a while since i've been on this but I am looking to book for october - before half term - All english and french shools in school by the looks of it (around the 14th/15th)

Could anyone tell me how busy I should expect it to be and what the weather is like?

Thanks in advance :)

We have been in October some years ago and the weather was lovely, mild and sunny. The parks were empty, actually almost too empty. We walked around in adventureland without meeting anyone at all!!! A lot of the restaurants away from main street and fantasyland was closed because of the low crowds.

Do you think it is worth going then - The low crowds is a big bonus to us as we have a 2 year old and when we last went in February it was quite crowded (even though we did cope and she was very good) it would be a lot more convenient if the ques times were minimal.

Also do you think there will be many ride closures? I'm hoping not with it bein halloween season but you never know!

Thanks :)

We are going this week as it October week for some Scottish schools. We went the week before last year and it was great, quiet enough to do everything and can't remember having any issues with anything being shut.... The parks are open shorter hours but because it's not busy it didn't matter.

Awww thank you so much for your help.

So by the looks and sounds of it from the information i've gathered, most of the schools are not on holiday at this time!? From what I can see, English, French and spanish are all in so that's the majority of the crowds I guess!!

Awwww so hoping the que times are low and the weather is pleasant enough :):)

xx

i go 2nd to the 6th october and tried to look at school holidays, reading this i think ive timed it right and it wont be too busy as i have a 2 year old also

Yes from what I have read, the schools don't finish till around the 27th - just in time for halloween haha so i'm hoping the 15th-19th is quiet :)

Hope you enjoy yourself, I can't wait to see the decorations

i cant wait full stop, not told the kids yet, have two daughters aged 2 and 7 and when they find out they are going to go mental

we went oct 8th til 11th last year & parks were lovely & quiet. Weather was also great & we didn't need to wear coats. It's a fab time to go especially with the extra Halloween stuff on.
I'd have gone back the same time this year except we wanted to see the Christmas decorations.

We are going on 15th October for 4 nights this year.

We went on the 13th to 16th last year and it was lovely and quiet on the thursday and friday with minimal queues for everything including the big ones like BTM were only 20-35 minutes. It was lovely, we walked on a lot of rides and the scrums for characters weren't too bad.

It was very busy on the Saturday and Sunday and I imagine this is due to local people coming to see the halloween offerings.

We are going Monday - Friday this year so hopefully it will be quiet all week!

Regards weather it was absolutely lovely. About 23 celcius every day with clear blue skies and sun. Lovely! But we have been in October in previous years and have had rain, and even an early frost one year.. It's a really awkward month for Parisien weather!

This is when I'm going. Happy to be reading this.

Weekends seem to generally be crazy even in quieter times!!!

But has anyone worked out the 16th October AP blackout yet?????

It's a blackout date on the Fantasy AP.
