I'm saving a ton of money by staying at an All Star, with a discount and will be on my very first solo vacation. I'm a vegetarian and have seen a Victoria and Albert's sample Veg menu and right now my mouth is watering. I would do the wine pairing which would come to over $200 with tax and tip. Had anyone eaten there? I mean I think this is an experience I wouldn't have elsewhere and have almost 6 months to save for my trip.

I've heard reviews of the food but not the service. I'd love some opinions!

V&A is the less expensive than any other restaurants I've dined at that were at this caliber.

Service is outstanding.

One word of caution: the wine pairing is a lot of wine. If you are not used to drinking that much, you may wish to discuss it with your server and perhaps skip a few of the wine courses. I cannot drink it all. It took away from my meal experience the first time so now I just get 2 glasses, depending on what the waiter recommends.

Enjoy your meal.

I'm doing V&A solo next month. I cannot wait!
