Hiya all Has anyone gone to DisneyWorld or similar on their own for a week? I've been thinking about it for awhile and am really tempted. Hubby thinks the US is too far to fly for only a week's holiday whereas I think differently. He's told me he doesn't mind me going alone (altho at first he wasn't so sure) but he's told me to go ahead if I really want to go. I'd stay on-site obviously coz I'd feel safer, plus everything is just a bus ride away. Anybody else done this? Anyone got any tips for me?
I'm planning on going in about 2 weeks time I didn't think hubby would actually even consider me going alone but as he said to me we can't live in each other's pockets 24 hours a day (despite that we've done this for 3 years now lol ) so I've got the money to do it and I figured why not. Got a good flight price, so am just waiting to ring and confirm. I shall come back and post once I'm all booked
Havent done it sole or for just one week yet! but will be going for a week in Oct
I couldnt wait till next year for our every other year visit DH couldnt get time of work so I booked a week for myself and the girls.
Having been you know exactly what to expect and how you would cope so I say go for it, I most certainly would.
Well I'm going As I kept getting mucked about with First Choice over whether or not I'd be able to book transfers thru them I missed the boat with the 17th July but am going a week later instead. So, I'm going 24-31st July for a week, staying at Pop Century. I've just told my mum as she's close to Gatwick so wanted her to drop me off - she officially thinks I'm odd now for going alone and leaving hubby behind lol Roll on the next 17 days and let the planning commence!
