Hey guys! So I am a 20 year old huge Disney fan who is currently studying abroad in London! I am in Paris for the week with some friends who refuse to go to Disneyland :( I don't think I can turn down the opportunity to visit since I have been to WDW multiple times and dream of visiting other parks! However I am nervous about a solo trip at my age. Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas for how to make it awesome? Alternatively, does anyone think it's a bad idea/not worth my money? I do have a day at MK coming up this summer so I will get a small Disney fix then. Any opinions?

Do it! I never have, but wouldn't hesitate! Have a look through the trip reports and you'll find a few trip reports from solo travelers!!

Sorry, not masses of help as I've not done it, but I would!

I was in my early 20s when I went for my first solo Disney trip (Disneyland California - for 4 days). Was a bit worried about it at first (done Disney before but always with other people) but really couldn't turn down the opportunity to go to Disneyland even if it was by myself. Totally enjoyed myself that trip and had so much fun I then did several solo trips to Disneyland Paris!

I usually bring along a Kindle/iPhone and spend my time in long lines reading. I also read while I am staking out a spot for the parade/Dreams, or when doing a table service meal at Walt's! Basically this helps to pass the time while waiting for things.

What's great about a solo trip is that you can do whatever you like whenever you like - e.g. if I want to ride Rock n Roller Coaster several times in a row, no one is going to object! Or if I want to spend an hour staking out an excellent spot for Dreams, no one is going to be upset that that's an hour not spent doing rides.

So basically - go for it, especially if you're already in Paris!

Do it!!! I just came back from a trip to DLP. Solo, stayed for 3 nights and loved it. I'm a huge fan of WDW but now it was finally time for me to see the european counterpart since it's much closer than WDW. Take your phone or an ebook reader to keep you busy while waiting in line and you'll be fine. DLP is different from WDW...very different...but I loved it and am going solo again in december. The castle is sooooo beautiful, don't miss out on the chance of seeing it and spending a day @Disney. Also: I really recommend the shows at the Studios park, Animagique and Cinemagique are unique and fun shows worth seeing.

I have got my first solo trip booked for august (will be 18th disney trip though:goodvibes)

I am really looking forward to it as it's something I have wanted to do for ages. Finally have the chance because DS is going to spain with grandma - so guilt free solo trip for me:goodvibes:goodvibes

There is no way I could be in Paris with a free day and NOT go to DLP! Go for it and have a fab time:goodvibes
