Hello, I am currently contemplating a solo trip for 2/3 weeks from the UK, please give me reasons to do so and help me with the fact I won’t know anybody while I’m out there. Thanks to everyone who replies and helps, much love ❤

I never regretted my solo trips. Longest I did was 8 nights solo. I loved being able to get up when I wanted, go do what I wanted and not have to check in with others. It was all at my own pace. I did a mix of TS and QS and did have my own car but that was more for my convenience vs. not wanting to take Disney Transportation. If I were to do it again, I'd use ME from the airport and rent a car for a day if I wanted to go offsite ( like to the beach or Cape Canaveral ).

Hey Adam, I'm contemplating the same thing! Also from the UK. Scary thought right now but I think the power of wanting to go to disneyworld is outweighing the fear right now! What time of year are you looking at going? All the best

I'm going on a solo trip from the UK in June.
I don't mind not knowing anyone.
Firstly because I am not wildly good at socialising with strangers anyway, but also because I have spent enough time in USA that I have a sense of feeling that most people I will encounter will likely be friendly and helpful, at least to a level that is comfortable for a stranger.
Also, because there is so much to do and see that you won't have time to feel lonely!
Have a great trip.

Most people are friendly in the states! We live just a few hours from Disney, anytime my dad comes to visit us he always comments on how overwhelmingly friendly people are( he is from Hertfordshire.) More than likely you will find people in every long queue you wait in that will be chatty...you really won't feel alone. Plus going solo, you can do what you want when you want to do it! Have a great trip!
