Solo Character Meet and Greet Picture Question

We'll be going to WDW in early June for the first time in 5 years and looking forward to it. Our 17 year old daughter loves the memories of when she was little getting character pics, I have booked a couple character meals for all of us and she wants to spend her extra Magic Kingdom day getting character pics but she will be solo for that. Will a CM take pictures for her with her camera or will she need to have the photo pass pictures taken...I'm debating on buying the Magical Memory Maker and may do it if she will have to buy all those pics.

She is super excited that she got her FP+ for Anna and Elsa and wants to make sure she gets her pic with them

Yup. I've done plenty of solo meals. They will def make sure you get it taken. And it they aren't around when one comes buy, have your daughter say something.

CMs will most definitely take photos with her camera and/or phone. I was at MK solo this weekend and had plenty of photos taken with characters!

I've done many solo character meet & greets. The majority of the time the CM will take a picture for you with your camera. A few times the Photopass photographer will do it, usually because there is no CM or the CM is busy doing something else.

I'm nearly always solo, and I've found if there's no Photopass around, and the CM attendant has wandered away, the person behind you is typically willing to take the photo too.

There should always be either an attendant or a photopass with a character, and they will be more than happy (usually) lol to take your camera/phone as well to take photos. The only place it's different is character meals, depending on the character, there might be 1 attendant for all of them, or 1 per character, but there's always someone around to take a picture for you!!
