Sadly, my family must sell our points to cover the cost of my wife and daughter's horse who just incurred an equine vet bill.

These points must be used by Feb 1, 2006. They CAN NOT be banked or transferred. Home resort is Wilderness Lodge. 174 points are available at $9.00 a point

DVC Resorts at Thanksgiving are already full for we checked for a coworker. Can check for Christmas though. We will need to make the reservation for you and will transfer the reservation into your name once payment is received.

Payment must be made IN-FULL (within 5 business days) of accepting, in the form of a cashier's check, there are no cancellations. Will provide a confirmation and confirmation number once reservation is made.

Sorry about the payment in full, but this is being done to pay an equine bill for my wife and daughter's horse.

If interested, please include:

Dates of Stay (Check-in and Out)
Number in Party (Adults / Children w/ ages)
Location
Room Type
Name Reservation should be made under w/ address and phone

Thank you for helping our family. Please email, mgmmkt@sbcglobal.net

Hey Matt, our family is coming to Disney, arriving January 5th and leaving the 10th for the Disney Marathon. Our first choice is Boardwalk Villa 1BR "Standard but Yacht or Beach Club would also work if Boardwalk is not available. Can you help?

Thanks!

Thank you to everyone for your requests. As I stated, this money will go towards paying our equine bill and it is much appreciated. Our 14 month old colt thanks you.

If you can please provide the following information when making a request we would greatly appreciate it. To speed the process up, we are making actual reservations and then calling the interested party giving confirmation numbers.

However, DVC member services will not allow us to make the reservation without the information below.

If interested, please include:

Dates of Stay (Check-in and Out)
Number in Party (Adults / Children w/ ages)
Names of all members in your party
Location: 1st choice, second choice, etc. (or just one choice)
Room Type
Smoking or Non-smoking
Name Reservation should be made under w/ address and phone

Without this information above, we can not make the reservation. Thank you for your understanding and helping our family & horse. Please email, mgmmkt@sbcglobal.net if interested and wanting to proceed.

Thank you for the picture.... My daughter always runs up to those and jumps on saying yeeee haw.....

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has inquired and read this thread (received 36 emails just last night). Since a lot of people wanted to know what happened and our colts condition. I thought I would post it here.

Our colt is a Paso Fino (age 14 months). He is chestnut with a flaxen mane and tail (gold). We are just so happy he is alive... My wife and daughter were in tears when I informed them that there was trouble at the farm. Unfortunately, I was the unlucky one to take the call and had to be the bearer of bad news....

He became ill because of the heat in Florida where we keep our horses with the trainer. It took 12 bags of IV fluids (first night), numerous drugs, and 3 days of constant watching and more IVs and drugs to get him back....

Most importantly, a vet that is not our normal vet, rushed over since ours was in Gainesville for a client and treated him.... Without this vet, our colt would not be alive today.

The good news it was caught in time and NO SURGERY, which we could not afford ($10,000 plus) with no guarantees... He has no long term effects..... He is a youngster, only 14 months old.... He was playing to much in the field in the heat and not drinking enough that day and got dehydrated which got him into trouble.

Plus, he is now starting to get to the age of knowing what mares are... HUGH. So spending energy pacing the fence line is not uncommon... He likes the ladies in the pasture across from him.

He has now been moved inside in a stall and is recovering and has a fan on him constantly to help with the heat. He is also being given vitamins and minerals, plus electrolytes to help make him drink more. Hopefully, this will not happen again... Although he misses his friends in the pasture, he is being kept inside until it cools off more.

Thank you again for everyone on this board. There is a lot of warmth on this board. My family thanks you and our colt Diamante de Oro thanks you.

We are checking availability today for some kind disneygoers and will post an update this evening.

Matt

Although, we have gotten a lot of inquiries, Disney is not cooperating with having rooms available. DVC it seems is really booked right now.

Points are still available for rent. We have not lost hope and are pressing on to pay this bill. PLease include the necessary information (listed above) so that when we call if your request is available we can make the reservation. Also, if you are flexible as to where you will stay on the grounds please also mention that.

Thank you for all of your help and inquiries..... My family appreciates it.

Thank you to everyone that has helped. My family appreciates it and so does our colt. We greatly appreciate all of the kind words and hope that everyone on this board has a magical day and trip.

THANK YOU AGAIN!!!!

Matt
