SOG - ticket question

I posted this in the Resort board because my ticket question is relevant only to folks able to stay at the Shades of Green.

I am contemplating not purchasing hopper passes for our upcoming trip.

When we stay at SOG we usally buy the Stars and Stripes package which includes all parks, water parks, Quest and the tickets are hoppers. The website says you can only purchase these tickets if you stay at Shades or another WDW resort.

If you are not staying at SOG or another WDW resort they give you the option of purchasing non-hopper, hopper only (does not include waterparks etc...) among others. We are not planning on doing the waterparks.

So...my question finally, if I stay at SOG may I purchase the 1-park or the hopper w/out Fun and Sun? The savings could potentially be over $120 total (that would be enough for a special TS dinner).

When we stayed at SOG we bought the 5 day and added the hopper.
There is an icon for "I am only interested in one day tickets" and it will tell you the price. There is also an icon that says "I will not be staying at WDW or SOG" and it will let you click on multi days with and without the hopper option and it will then tell you the price. We have always purchased these tickets (multi day with hopper only) even when staying on WDW and SOG.

Stars and Stripes is the only ticket media that requires a stay at SOG or a Disney resort. All other tickets for purchase at SOG, are available regardless of where you are staying, a Disney resort or off property.

each time we have gone we have NOT gotten water park or DQ/PI tickets. we used to get hoppers, but having noticed we never ever hopped, we won't bother with that in the future.

Basically any ticket configuration you can think of can be purchased at SoG. It's just the Stars and Stripes deal is the all inclusive deluxe package that has restrictions
