I thought I saw it in another thread somewhere, but I can't find it. Does anyone know what type of package they are doing for Christmas at SoG?

We looked at booking for a couple days, but the days were not available. I know they have had packages over a certain time period during Christmas and it looked like from the 18th through New Year's were unavailable or locked for packages only.

Christmas is completely sold out for this year. Sorry :(

FYI....they take reservations 53 weeks out. Christmas nearly always sells out immediately. And yes, they do block certain dates where you have to get the package.....So, mark your 2004 calendar to call in the week before Chrismas...for next year's trip! And actually, when you do call, they'll put you on the waiting list, as they don't release reservations for that time period until the package and package prices are set!

Since they're full, though, they can offer you overflow rates at Disney resorts! I'd go ahead and email a request! I did this for my dates in October and got called back the very next day :) Good luck!!

What kind of packages are you talking about? Gold leaf?

They usually make you buy packages that include meals if you are there during their Christmas season dates. I've heard some people say that they included breakfast only, where others have said that their package included breakfast and dinner. Also not sure if they include tickets with those packages. Not sure if that's Gold Leaf or not.... can't remember what those include and don't see the info on the site.

We've not done these for a couple reasaons....
--we like to go early December to avoid crowds, so the package wasn't required
--we have AP's so we never need tickets
--we like to eat in the parks, so aren't interested in paying for meals we won't eat. We usually only eat at the hotel once for breakfast and maybe once for dinner.
