I know that I can buy my Magic Your Way tickets from SOG at a good discount. Does anyone know if this is the same discount I would get by buying them at my local base travel service? Also, I noticed SOG is offering discounts to Sea World. I thought Sea World and Busch Gardens were still doing free admission for active duty and dependents. Anyone know?

The Anheuser Busch "Here's to the Heroes" program goes at least through the end of this year as far as I know. Probably check their website for sure. However, you can only use it once is my understanding so if I wanted to go to Seaworld Orlando(which I do but probably am not going to for a couple years), I can't use it because I went to Seaworld San Antonio this summer. Therefore, SOG selling tickets to Seaworld and Busch Garderns because you can't do both.

Hope someone else can help you out with you other question.

we needed more so we ended up just buying at SOG. I believe prices were the same, and they could have ordered the longer tickets for us but we needed them sooner than what they could get them. Not sure about the SeaWorld thing as my hubby is a DoD civilian. HTH!

Yeah...Sea World is doing free admission for active duty and dependents through the rest of the year. We are trying to decide if we want to go during our December trip....

it depends on the tickets you need. Some have posted the price was cheaper on base for shorter stays and hoppers. For longer stays I've priced the stars and stripes length of stay tickets (unlimited hopping and unlimited trips to Quest and water parks) cheaper then I could get on base. It all depends on what you want.

Confirming the Sea World/Busch Gardens thing is 1 free 1 day admission for a certain number of family members (can't remember, might be 5), but you can only do ONE, not both, and only once. You need to pre-print the ticket thing from the internet before you go (I think).

At the San Antonio Seaworld this summer, we(2 army officers and 1 AF officer) just went to the guest services outside the gate and did the stuff right there to get in. I had a great time, really enjoyed the shows and roller coasters. There were a lot of Airmen(and women) there with their parents because of the proximity to Lackland where the zoomies do all their basic training. They had the military people stand up and be acknowledged as part of the Shamu show. All in all, a good day. Visiting Seaworld Orlando is definitely on my to do list now. Maybe next summer when we are at SOG as we will have a rental car.

it's a total of 4 tickets. You have the option of either printing the form out or doing it at guest services. You need to bring ID to get the tickets.

With our base there was some minor price differences but really they came out the same in comparison with adult and child. (Child was cheaper here and Adult was cheaper there)

They will still sell you tickets to Sea World......but if you go to Sea World's web site you can still get in free once per family.

Hope you guys have a wonderful trip!

Thanks everyone for the great info. It sounds like as far as admission to WDW I'll just have to check on base first but that the prices are about the same.

I'm not sure if we'll have time to do Sea World while we're in Florida but I hope so. I really think it's wonderful how they show their support! :flower:

Does anyone know if Annual Pass is available at local bases?

We purchased an AP last year from SOG at the beginning of our stay at WDW. They expired last month. We don't want to renew through Disney right now because we don't plan on returning until next fall. I would like to buy our AP before we return to WDW.
